Terms of Service

Last updated

These terms cover your use of the MD Reader website at https://mdreader.happie.in (the “Site”) and any purchase of MD Reader (the “App”). The Site and App are provided by Kunal Sahu, an individual based in India (“we”, “us”). By using the Site or buying the App you agree to these terms.

1. The App and its license

Your use of the App itself is governed by the End User License Agreement (EULA). If these terms and the EULA conflict about the App, the EULA wins.

2. Purchases and pricing

  • Prices are shown in USD. The launch price is $9.99 as a one-time purchase, with no subscription.
  • Purchases are processed by our resellers, Gumroad and the Microsoft Store. They handle payment, may charge applicable taxes (such as GST or VAT) and apply their own terms of sale. We never see or store your full card details.
  • We may change the price of future sales at any time. Price changes never affect a purchase you've already made.

3. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

4. Early-access waitlist

If you join the waitlist we'll use your email only to tell you about MD Reader's launch and major updates, as described in the Privacy Policy. Joining doesn't commit you to buying anything.

5. Acceptable use of the Site

Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at abusive rates or gain unauthorised access to the Site, and don't submit other people's email addresses to the waitlist.

6. Intellectual property

The Site's content, design, the MD Reader name and logo belong to us. Product names such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Windows belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility; we're not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

7. Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is”. Guides and examples are for general information and may become outdated as third-party software changes.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Site or the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date above shows when; material changes will be announced on the Site.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction, without removing any right you have to bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live if your local consumer law gives you that right.
